Skoot from London to Paris

Published on: 3rd July 2012

Worlds Apart’s new ride-on and pull-along suitcase, Skoot, is set to cover a 450 mile ‘road test’, the equivalent journey from London to Paris and back.

Taking on bumps, kerbs and other ‘road debris’, the Skoot will be tested at an average speed of 5kmh and will be loaded with 20kgs of luggage on its journey.
With practical rubber wheels and a handle bar for steering, the road tests hope to prove the Skoot’s ability to withstand everyday use.

Neil Shinner, managing director at Worlds Apart, comments: “The Skoot cruised through the initial ‘weight lifting’ trials over uneven terrain and with 20kgs on board, but now we are looking to put it to the ultimate test with a trip to Europe and back!  This should be an interesting test for the Skoot but we have no doubt it will pass with flying colours.”

The Skoot is available in four classic colours, pastel blue, pink, red and lilac.
