Skyrocket UK reports significant growth for Blume Dolls

Published on: 11th December 2019

Skyrocket UK has seen its Blume Dolls brand make a steep growth trajectory since launch.

The Blume Dolls, known for their squishy hair, mix and match outfits and accessories, have been a talking point in the national press with reports of successful growth. Blume has been popular with fans at influencer events and has appeared on the UK’s most coveted gift guides.

Captivating audience interest has directly translated to a rapid growth trajectory and strong sales, with the brand now celebrating a Top Ten NPD position within the Play set Dolls and Accessories category for the month of November and a coveted place in the Toy Retailer Association’s 2019 Dream Toys Top 12 list.

Amy Saunders, general manager, Skyrocket Toys UK, said: “We’ve hardly had time to come up for air since launching earlier this year, so I’m over the moon we have already hit 9th position for November within the NPD Playset Dolls and Accessories category after trading only a few months. Not only have our products had such an exceptional reception from retailers, but consumers have shown an incredible reaction with Blume making it to the ‘must have’ and ‘top trending’ lists of many national retailers. Staying ahead of what works at retail whilst delivering against consumer trends and tastes is at the heart of our business, and with London Toy Fair almost upon us I look forward to unveiling our latest innovations – and of course, a host of new surprises, at the show.”

Demonstrated by Philip Schofield, who presented the dolls on ITV’s How to Spend it Well at Christmas, Blume also featured on ITV’s This Morning’s Ultimate Gift Guide for children earlier this month

Complementing the dolls as the perfect seasonal hero line is the Blume ‘Secret Surprise Garden’. The jumbo-sized play set not only guarantees a rare doll every time, but is packed full of 30 surprises, delivering extra play value and mix and match compatibility with the whole of the talked-about collection.
