Small Business Saturday returns for third year

Published on: 25th November 2015

Building on the success of the past two years, the event will take place on 5th December.

smallbusiness480Small Business Saturday encourages shoppers to visit the nation’s independent businesses, and is one of the UK’s most successful small business campaigns.

Last year over 16.5 million shoppers took part, spending £504m and giving a significant boost to small, independent businesses.

American Express is again helping small businesses attract customers in the lead-up to Christmas, by supporting them with a national advertising campaign celebrating the heroes of the high streets, creating an interactive Shop Small map and more.

Small business owners can use the American Express Ad Creator tool free of charge to create personalised digital advertising to increase online visibility. The company will then promote the finished adverts online to customers in the local area.
