The takeover will see a revival of the well-known US brand.

RH Smith & Sons, trading as Smiffys, has acquired the Chasing Fireflies brand after its holding company went into administration.

Chasing Fireflies has long delighted parents and children across the US with its wide product offering, which ranges  from occasion wear and costume to party goods. The brand, a household name and a loyal customer of R H Smith for over a decade, has struggled to maintain its brand value in recent years after numerous acquisitions. The move by R H Smith and Sons to acquire the brand will see the revival of the much-loved family favourite.
