Smyths to open in Blackpool

The 23,000 sq ft superstore will open up at a former football centre.

Blackpool Council granted a request from Smyths for planning permission to turn the football centre into a ‘bulky goods retail shop’ in December.

Rob Guckian, from Smyths, which has 85 stores nationally, said: “Smyths Toys Superstores are pleased to announce a new store opening in Blackpool.

“This is an exciting opportunity for us and we cannot wait to welcome new customers to the store. We are looking for enthusiastic staff who are passionate about toys.”
