Star Wars fans can experience the Force this Weekend at Smyths Toys Superstores.

To celebrate the launch of the brand new Star Wars product range in-store, Smyths Toys Superstores will be opening its doors from 12:01am on Friday 1st September  to give fans a first look at the range and the chance to win lots of free Star Wars goodies. This event will take place in three of Smyth’s UK stores including Leeds Crown Point, Staples Corner and Glasgow.

Star Wars fans are encouraged to visit these stores on the night for the chance to win Star Wars prizes from the new range and take part in an augmented reality treasure hunt. As fans turn up to take home the new Star Wars The Last Jedi products, they will have the opportunity to activate an augmented reality experience featuring Star Wars characters, including fan-favourites and new additions from the film.

Additionally, the first 50 customers in-store on the night will also receive a free Star Wars goody bag from Disney and a free Funko Head.

Smyths Toys will be carrying the celebrations through to the weekend hosting an event in all its stores on Saturday September 2nd. Customers are invited to come in-store dressed as their favourite Star Wars character for the chance to win a lightsaber.

Commenting on the event, PR and events executive Amy Matthews commented: “We are delighted to be working with Disney and Lucasfilm on such an exciting event. The new Star Wars product range is sure to excite fans and we want to make sure our customers are the first to see it. We encourage all our customers to join the Force and come in-store on the night as we will have character appearances and lots of amazing giveaways.”
