The toy range, based on the hit Disney Junior TV show, caused a social media stir on Tuesday September 18th during a national Twitter party.
The excitement had been building before the big day as party hosts got ready to test and play with the new Jungle Junction toy collection. As the party started and non-party hosts joined the fun, the event was soon trending in the UK’s top ten tweets.
Images of excited pre-schoolers taking part and comments about products from parents flooded the twittersphere. Pre-prepared activities included Race Launcher races, character colouring sheets, plasticine modelling, and playing with the key toy lines took place, with hosts continually tweeting their progress.
The project was organised by with Evolution PR and UK Mums TV, and saw nearly 3 million tweets delivered to over 300,000 twitter followers.
Kirsty MacKenzie, Flair’s Jungle Junction product manager, said: “The Twitter party was a resounding success and our 15 party hosts did an amazing job. Each really entered the spirit of the event by making themed party food and inviting all their children’s friends to take part. In addition to the two-hour party project each host also has a full blog of the event and reviews of all the toys ensuring the brand awareness for our products and the property overall was complete.”
