Peter Handstein got in touch from his site in Ningbo, China, to chat to Christian Ulrich, spokesperson for the Executive Board of Spielwarenmesse eG.

Founder of Hape, Peter Handstein, speaks to Christian Ulrich in the latest podcast episode. The duo discussed the developments at his Peter’s company during the pandemic and the importance to Hape of renewable raw materials such as bamboo for the production of toys. Peter also reveals details of a new joint venture in Portugal.

Peter has been committed to the issue of sustainability since he founded the company in the 1990s, continually developing the business in innovative and prescient ways on this principle.
