Each charity supported will receive £1,000 of toys from Spin Master to help spread the joy of Christmas to kids.
George Rainsford, and Imogen Thomas have pledged their support to the annual event at KidZania London, the indoor city run by kids at Westfield London, Shepherd’s Bush. Teaming up with KidZania for the third year running Spin Master is once again spreading festive joy to children across the country this Christmas. Everyday until Christmas, one lucky child who visits the city will get to open a door on the calendar, which stands pride of place in KidZania’s airport.
Speaking about the advent calendar initiative, George Rainsford, from Casualty, said: “I’m thrilled to once again be able to nominate Kidscape to receive a bundle of these brilliant toys. Kidscape’s mission is to provide children, families, carers and professionals with advice and training to prevent bullying and protect young lives. These toys will go to great use especially at this time of year.”
Model and TV personality Imogen Thomas, added: “Being a single mum can be tough at times, but I simply can’t imagine how parents cope when their children are seriously ill or dealing with life-limiting illness. I’m nominating the amazing Rays of Sunshine charity to receive a bundle of toys as they will help bring a little joy to families facing the most difficult of times this Christmas.”
A further £1,000 of Toys will also be donated to KidsOut, a charity that is supported each year by KidZania. The charity supports disadvantaged children, many of whom end up in refuges as victims of domestic abuse.
