Spin Master expands Hatchimals franchise

Two new ways to collect Colleggtibles to be introduced plus Hatchimals Glittering Garden.

An enhancement to the line of Season 1 Hatchimals Colleggtibles, the new glittery Hatchimals Colleggtibles Egg Cartons are available, filled with mini speckled eggs. Within every package, fans will find a Collectors List, allowing them to collect and organise their new friends. The Colleggtibles 2-Pack Egg Cartons contain exclusive Special Edition Glittering Garden Hatchimals Colleggtibles with six to collect in all, while the 12-Pack includes an exclusive Flamingoose.

In addition to the expanded line of Hatchimals Colleggtibles, the brand is launching Hatchimals Glittering Garden, which re-introduces the original characters Penguala and Draggle in glittering varieties. These full-sized Hatchimals come in shimmering eggs. The new toys offer the same Hatchimals play pattern, creating an experience through anticipation, surprise and discovery.

Fans are also invited to download the Hatchimals Colleggtibles app where they can hatch new virtual Hatchimals, play interactive mini games and explore Hatchtopia. Available on Apple iTunes and Google Play, users can now track their at-home collection on the app and access Hatchimal bios to learn about their personality, rarity, family, Hatchtopia habitat and more.

Ben Gadbois, president and COO of Spin Master, commented: “We are thrilled by the current success of the Hatchimals brand globally and the introduction of Hatchimals Colleggtibles. We know collectibles are a rising toy trend, and we are pleased to offer the hatching experience at a low price point with over 70 to collect. As we continue to develop and innovate the Hatchimals brand into an evergreen global property, our fans now have more offerings through brand extensions, and licensing programs to build their own Hatchtopia.”
