Epoch Making Toys’ first mascot event at the Redhill Centre in Surrey on the 17th April welcomed a larger than expected audience.
Freya, Ralph, Tiffany and Abbigail entertained children and parents alike at three different intervals throughout the day as part of the shopping centre’s Easter celebrations. Children got to dance along with the characters and have their photos taken with their favourite characters, whilst also getting to take away goody bags of activities.
The event was run in partnership with toy retailer Toy Barnhaus, who were delighted with how it went. Stephen Barnes, co-owner of Toy Barnhaus, commented: “The Sylvanian Mascot event at Toy Barnhaus Redhill was a fantastic event that generated lots of excitement about Sylvanian families. It was very well run, and fantastically received by all the children who attended, and we are looking forward to the events at our other stores later this year.”
Freya and Ralph will also be making an appearance tomorrow at the Westfield Centre, Derby in partnership with Toy Planet.
The events are all part of Epoch Making Toys’ strategy to attract at least 20% new consumers to the brand year-on-year. The events allow children to feel familiar with Sylvanian Families by shaking hands or touching the life-size character thus creating wonderful and most importantly unforgettable memories for them. Epoch’s aim is to have 200 of these events by the end of the year.
