Tactic Games appoints Elmer Marketing

Vicki Marler-Hausen of Elmer Marketing will manage the company’s trade and consumer marketing activity.

Tactic Games has appointed the services of Elmer Marketing as it prioritises raising awareness of its growing games and gift portfolio, alongside building stronger partnerships with its customers.

With a host of new games being released throughout 2019, including Speedy Beedy, Mud Party, Doodle Doo and the Toy Fair Hero award winner Don’t Upset the Llama, Tactic has a busy second half of the year ahead.

Vicki will be supporting the UK sales team on retailer meetings, trade shows and trade communication, as well as utilising her extensive media contact base to help drive awareness of Tactic in the consumer market. A key focus will also be promoting Tactic’s Lumo Stars plush collection and the new characters being introduced this year, whilst exploring fun ways to engage with young collectors and drive downloads of the Lumo app.

Phil O’Nion, UK sales manager at Tactic Games, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Vicki into the Tactic team, and know that her many years of experience in the toy industry will be very valuable to us as we start planning for the all-important Q4 period. We are looking forward to working together on ideas to support retailers and enhance listings for our vast games catalogue, Lumo Stars and our licensed ranges for Angry Birds and Masha and the Bear. One of Vicki’s key tasks is to also ensure the Tactic name becomes more well-known with consumers, so we are excited about the types of campaigns we can become involved in over the coming months.”

Vicki Marler-Hausen added: “It is a privilege to be working with the wonderful team at Tactic, both here and at its head office in Finland. I cannot wait to start sharing news about its impressive catalogue, which is bursting with fun children’s games, adorable plush, quality outdoor toys and entertaining family and party games. The Tactic story now spans half a century, with much to be proud of, and I’m excited the company has chosen Elmer Marketing to help build on its success. Anyone wishing to contact me to discuss any opportunities can email me on”
