On Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th August, young fans queued to meet Tatty Teddy and had their faces painted with blue noses and patches. After a treasure trail around the hotel, kids received Blue Nose goody bags and were told stories about how Tatty Teddy met his Blue Nose Friends and the adventures they share together.
Seven-year-old Emma Benney from Chorley won a family pass to the Storytelling Weekend, including an overnight stay in the Tatty Teddy-themed suite and entry into the Alton Towers Theme Park. Emma, who took part in the activities with her brothers, wrote an imaginative story about Tatty Teddy & My Blue Nose Friends which was picked from hundreds of entries to win the star prize.
The Alton Towers Resort Hotel features two Tatty Teddy-themed rooms which are available to book at altontowers.com.
