Team Scalextric suffers setback for The MINI Challenge

Published on: 17th July 2012

Team Scalextric’s Patrick Mortimer’s MINI JCW catapulted into the air at 120mph during The MINI Challenge races at Snetterton.

Thankfully, Patrick walked away from the crash, but it remains to be seen if his car, which suffered extensive damage, will be so lucky.

Adrian Norman has remained in 4th place in his class and 9th place over all fending off arch-rival Mike Philips. Team Scalextric still shows all the signs of a top three position, with Adrian Norman’s skilful driving edging the team further up the championship chart.

Team Scalextric’s next race is on 28th July at Oulton Park.
