The deadline is August 30th 2013 for the fifth annual Rainbow Toy Awards for Excellence, which will be hosted live online on September 27th at www.rainbowawards.co.uk.
The Rainbow Awards team has secured consumer print coverage with a variety of titles, including The Mums Survival Guide (circ 500,000), the Tumble Tots newsletter (circ 180,000), plus a variety of regional and national publications. The coverage will ensure winning products and the company that makes or distributes them are noticed in the run-up to Christmas.
Each year the Rainbow Awards are featured on hundreds of blog sites, with each blogger posting links to the winning toys and to the retailer listed in the ‘where to buy’ section of the entry form.
Peter Dawson commented: “Our ultimate aim of course, is to help companies drive sales. By using bloggers and having them post links directly to the page on the retail website where you can buy the toy is extremely valuable for product sales, and SEO, too. When the awards are announced, winner’s websites can see literally hundreds of inbound links appear, which is a fantastic and valuable upsurge for them.”
