Tesco introduces Toy Tester Hotline

Published on: 4th November 2016

The retailer’s latest initiative will see children across the UK give parents advice on the best toys to buy their kids for Christmas.

Tesco-480Tesco is letting five kids, aged between five and nine, man its customer service line for four hours on Saturday 5th November.

The idea was sparked after Tesco found, through a survey of 2,000 parents, that 66% of parents weren’t sure what to buy their kids for Christmas.

“We want to help take the stress out of Christmas this year, and with our Toy Tester Hotline, we’ll be offering advice on this season’s most loved toys,” said Dawn Lavalette, head of buying for toys and nursery at Tesco.

The Tesco Toy Tester Hotline will be available on 02075 537 344 from 10am until 2pm on Saturday 5th November.
