Thames & Kosmos doubles Christmas sales

Published on: 13th January 2012

Science and technology kit company Thames & Kosmos UK have reported far better than expected Christmas sales figures.

“We’ve seen some clear best sellers including the Chem range of three different chemistry sets suitable for budding to serious scientists. Stepping into Science from the Little Labs range was an unexpected hit – the Little Labs range is suitable for children as young as five, demonstrating that hands on, educational products are still an important focus,” said UK director Joanna Drage.

Thames & Kosmos also supply the educational sector with key stage and curriculum-linked sets.  In 2012 they are beginning a big consumer PR push to work with children’s publications and programming and bridge the divide between science for learning and science for fun.

You can see Thames & Kosmos and the range of science and technology focussed sets for children at Toy Fair this month on stand B49.  Products range across categories including chemistry, biology, physics and renewable energy with price points starting at £10.99
