The newest addition to the Kids First range, Robot Factory, provides an engaging way to teach simple engineering concepts to young children.

Thames & Kosmos Kids First Robot Factory Thames & Kosmos is continuing to expand its popular Kids First range with the latest addition, Robot Factory. This new kit, which is suitable for children ages 5-7, retails at £25 and follows the recent arrival, Robot Pet Shop, in popularity amongst end users.

Robot Factory comes with a beautifully illustrated 32-page storybook which centres around the adventures of the Omegas – the family of makers and engineers featured in some of the company’s other Kids First early engineering kits.

“The demand for good quality and re-playable STEM toys for early years primary school children is continuing month on month with parents beginning to look towards the beginning of the new school year”, commented Jo Drage, sales director at Thames & Kosmos. “Throughout lockdown the sales of our STEM kits and in particular the Kids First Range have proven extremely popular, with end users telling us how helpful they find it to engage their little ones in learning about subjects like engineering.”

Robot Factory provides an engaging way to teach simple engineering concepts to young children, allowing parents, teachers and caregivers to lay the groundwork for strong STEM-related skills and comprehension at an early age. Model building and experiments develop fine motor skill, mechanical engineering skills, visual-spatial skills, and reasoning and concept development skills.

“With Q4 around the corner, we are expecting independent customers to start looking towards Christmas and we feel sure that The Robot Factory will prove popular with parents, grandparents and aunties alike who are looking for presents which will be enjoyed longer than just on Christmas Day,” Jo added.
