Published on: 1st September 2022

The dedicated 80-page Games & Puzzles supplement shows there’s still all to play for this year in the strong supercategory.

Toy World Games & PuzzlesToy World’s annual Games & Puzzles supplement is back with a bang, bringing readers 80 pages of product news, retail insight, supplier opinion and in-depth profiles of some of the market’s leading games and puzzles companies.

Rachael Simpson-Jones paid a visit to Big Potato’s Shoreditch HQ to speak to Becky McKinlay, head of UK & EU marketing, plus some of the other team members, about what comes next for the fast-growing company and how it continues to chip away at the games market. Rachael also caught up with Alex Green, MD of Asmodee UK, to find out how the company is faring, what’s driving sales and the impact of economic challenges on the Games market. Additionally, Toy World caught up with Joeri Hoste, Exploding Kitten’s general manager International as the games company continues to build on its ongoing success.

This year’s supplement also includes a Touching Base with senior figures at some of the category’s biggest and best suppliers, while specialist games and puzzles retailers share with us their hopes for the festive season and let us in on what’s selling well. There’s also a bumper category overview, which takes a deep dive into the space: trends, new launches, fresh faces and much more. The NPD Group’s Rory Partis adds some data-driven insight into the supercategory’s performance this year too.
