The BlogOn Toy Awards are open now

Published on: 21st July 2022

The BlogOn Toys Awards are back again for the sixth time, and are joining forces with Dr Gummer’s Good Play Guide on the official Demo Zone.

Running since 2017, the BlogOn Toy Awards are an ideal way for toy and game companies, be they big or small, to connect to UK-based influencers whilst raising product awareness within the media.

All award entries are judged at the BlogOn Xmas conference. This year, the event is once again being held at the Coppid Beach Hotel, Bracknell, on the 8th October. The awards typically receive over 200 entries and the winners are judged by around 200 bloggers and influencers directly at the conference.

To help make the awards as accessible as possible, the cost of each entry will remain the same as in previous years – just £10 per entry and only two samples.

Companies also have the opportunity to secure brand space at BlogOn which will allow them to communicate directly with the bloggers and influencers in attendance. A brand space costs up to £300 depending on the option taken. Companies can also opt to place their product in the official Good Play Guide Demo Zone, where they will be demoed to attendees by the child development and play experts at Dr Gummer’s Good Play Guide.

Laura Seaton, BlogOn founder, commented: “As we celebrate 10 year of BlogOn events, the importance of keeping up with trends and providing the best opportunities to our brands and influencers is still at the forefront of our minds. The addition of the Good Play Demo Zone will allow for brand partners to access the influencers and bloggers in way that hasn’t been possible before. We still have a handful of brand spaces available too, for companies who’d like a larger individual space from which to build ongoing relationships with the influencers in attendance.”

Dr Amanda Gummer, CEO and founder of Dr Gummer’s Good Play Guide, added: “We are delighted to be partnering with Laura this year to be running the official Good Play Demo Zone. The opportunity for brands to have their entries demoed by child development and play experts to the influencers and bloggers at BlogOn will be incredibly valuable.”

All toys that can be are raffled off at the end of the judging period. This year, BlogOn UK has announced that it will be supporting The Toy Trust with the raffle funds.
