The retailer has announced the opening of two new stores in Dundee and Dunfermline, Scotland.

The-Entertainer-480The Entertainer will now have a total of 120 stores throughout the UK, five of which are based in Scotland.

The 3,300 square foot Dunfermline and Dundee stores are both located within shopping centres and will provide choice for families visiting the popular centres, in addition to creating many new jobs in the area.

To celebrate the fourth and fifth Scottish store openings there will be plenty of activities taking place such as special character appearances throughout the day, in-store demos of latest products, along with special seasonal promotions.

The stores will also celebrate their grand openings with a trolley dash, undertaken by two local charities: CHAS (Children’s Hospice Association Scotland) and Help for Kids.

Gary Grant, managing director at The Entertainer, said: “We have a solid footprint right across the UK on both the high street and in shopping centres. We are really excited to be expanding our retail base in Scotland and we look forward to continuing to grow our business throughout 2016.”
