The Entertainer expands into Kazakhstan

Published on: 3rd August 2018

The Entertainer opened its first store in Dostyk Plaza in Almaty, Kazakhstan in partnership with Zeta Retail.

Commenting on the new partnership with Zeta, which operates three other reputable international retail brands, The Entertainer’s founder & chairman, Gary Grant said: “Kazakhstan is an exciting new market for The Entertainer, allowing us to bring our unique style of toy retailing to a whole new set of customers. Our first store is located in Dostyk Plaza in Almaty but we see the opportunity for a significant number of stores across the country. We are delighted with the partnership we have with Zeta Retail and we look forward to further expansion in Kazakhstan over the course of the next 12 months. Kazakhstan represents the first of at least three new market launches for The Entertainer in 2018, and we look forward to finding further partners to grow The Entertainer brand globally.”

The Entertainer currently has 145 shops in the UK, plus 27 international stores through its successful partnerships. Now in its 37th year, the family-owned and operated business has seen unprecedented year on year growth for six consecutive years and employs more than 1,500 staff across its shops, head office and distribution warehouses.
