Toy retailer The Entertainer will donate 10% of profits from Ready Steady Dough and pledges ongoing Autism Champion training for its staff.

Marking World Autism Acceptance Week (Monday 27th March – Sunday 2nd April), The Entertainer has announced that it will donate 10% of all profits from Ready Steady Dough lines sold both in-store and online at TheToyShop.com to the National Autistic Society until Sunday 2nd April.

In addition to supporting World Autism Acceptance Week,  The Entertainer says it is dedicated to providing ongoing Autism Champion training for its staff.

The retailer offers a daily quiet hour across all of its stores nationwide, in which music is paused and lights are dimmed where possible, to create a more calming environment for those who need it.

Mark Campbell, CEO of The Entertainer, commented: “We’re delighted to be supporting World Autism Acceptance Week once again, and we’re pleased that the donations made will enable the NAS to deliver invaluable support for autistic people and their families.

“We’re passionate about ensuring The Entertainer stores are a happy, safe and comfortable place for autistic customers and we’re proud that over the past 12 months we have continued to provide important training for our staff.”
