Total sales for the first nine months of The Entertainer’s current financial year increased by over 30% according to managing director Gary Grant. Like-for-like sales at the chain were up 25% on the same period the year before, making the retailer on track to turn over £150 million in the year to the end of January 31, compared with £128 million the previous year.

Gary Grant commented: “We sold over 4 million packets of loom bands in less than six months. It’s generated a huge increase in footfall.”
