The February issue of Toy World is now available to read online

Published on: 1st February 2021

The February issue is being delivered this week, or readers can access the online issue below.

The February issue includes a special section focusing on sustainable/eco-friendly toys, shining a light on the latest product launches that reflect the sustainability ethos, as well as the steps toy suppliers are taking to work in more environmentally friendly ways.

In the main issue, we highlight several newcomers to the toy industry (although there may be some familiar faces behind the company names), with features on Chris Lohmeyer’s DKB Toys; Cats vs. Pickles supplier Two in 1 Direct, headed up by Paul Fogarty; and cover star Toikido, which is Darran Garnham’s latest venture and the master toy partner for new hit property Among Us. Featuring on our special ‘green’ flip cover, the co-founders of Toyi, which supplies upcycling construction kits from Turkey, also take part in an in-depth piece about making their debut in the toy market.

This month’s Talking Shop turns its attention to the online space, with contributions from BargainMax, Wicked Uncle, Maqio Toys and, of course, regular columnists Toy Barnhaus.

This issue will also include Rick Derr’s Letter from America, NPD’s Industry Insight and the regular Fresh product spotlight, as well as a selection of the latest news from the toy industry, the Allegedly column and much more.

Looking ahead, there’s just time to get involved in our March issue, and companies who wish to do so should contact the team as soon as possible. For editorial queries, email editor Rachael Simpson-Jones at rachael@toyworldmag.co.uk and for advertising enquiries, contact sales director Mark Austin at mark@toyworldmag.co.uk..
