The Hive and Toot the Tiny Tugboat to hit the big screen

Lupus Films has brokered a deal with Picturehouse Cinemas which will see two of its pre-school properties screened in Toddler Time sessions in 20 cinemas across the country.

Atugboat-WORDPRESSnimated series The Hive and Toot the Tiny Tugboat will be screened in the cinema chain’s weekly 35-40 minute programme of early years content. They will feature alongside other films and shorts in the sessions, which have been specially designed for under-fives.

This deal follows the successful screenings of Lupus Films’ The Snowman and The Snowdog in the pre-school sessions, which were held across the cinema chain at Christmas. Previous screenings have featured family content from well-known characters from literature and the small screen including The Gruffalo, Rastamouse, Timmy Time, Peppa Pig and Bagpuss.

Co-founder Lupus Films, Camilla Deakin, said: “Any project which encourages families to visit their local cinemas scores very highly with us. We’re delighted that The Hive and Toot The Tiny Tugboat will be part of this great scheme which sees quality home-grown content hitting big screens around the country.”

The Hive  and Toot the Tiny Tugboat screenings will commence on 19th and 26th January respectively.
