The January issue of Toy World is out now

Published on: 10th January 2017

Our largest January issue yet is packed with all the information needed to help you make the most of the forthcoming Toy Fair season.

mainissuejan17480This edition pinpoints the forthcoming toy shows, in particular the London Toy Fair at Olympia. There is also the second part of our guide to the Spielwarenmesse. Both sections offer the opportunity to preview some of the new products which will be unveiled at the respective shows.

This year we have also taken a closer look at the shows, speaking to a number of companies who are both returning to Toy Fair and making their debut this year.

As well as all of our regular features such as Talking Shop and Viewpoint, there are in-depth retail interviews with both Tesco and B&M Bargains.

Toy World also investigated why it is that on-shelf date embargoes are so often broken, and spoke to both independent retailers and an ex-major buyer on what can be done to prevent this.

This year also saw Toy World gain exclusive access to the insights of NPD, with this issue’s column focusing on a round up of 2016.

The Toy World team are looking forward to catching up with you over the coming weeks. We will be out in force at the London Toy Fair, and you can catch us either wandering the halls or on our usual stand, GH37.
