The pop-up event will visit five UK cities this summer with four interactive play areas including building vehicles with Lego City and creating music videos with Lego Vidiyo.

The Lego Group is taking its first ever Pop & Play Tour on the road across the UK this summer, promising fun for families with four interactive play areas in the pop-up event.

The tour will visit shopping centres in Southampton, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Birmingham and Bristol and is a free family activity designed to unleash the creativity in all ages with a range of play experiences.

Participants will be able to visit a number of stations including ultimate cupcake decoration with Lego Dots, building vehicles with Lego City, taking part in a scavenger hunt to spot balloons and horses with Lego Friends and creating music videos with Lego Vidiyo. After completing each station, families will receive a rosette and by simply collecting two, can head to a local Lego store in the area to collect a free gift.

Alison Wood, retail director of UK Lego stores, said: “We’re looking forward to taking our first ever Lego Pop & Play Tour around the UK. Summer 2020 was disappointing for many families, so we hope this free, family event helps make up for it and gives them the chance to unleash their creativity. With Lego City, Friends, Dots and Vidiyo, we’ve ensured there’s something for all interests, whether that be arts and crafts, vehicles or music.”

The Lego Pop & Play Tour includes Southampton 7th & 8th August, Bargate; Liverpool 14th & 15th August, Liverpool One; Edinburgh 28th & 29th August, St James Quarter; Birmingham 4th & 5th September, Bullring; Bristol 11th & 12th September, Cabot Circus.

The Lego Pop & Play Tour will be located near Lego Retail stores for people of all ages to take advantage of exclusive promotions and check out the full ranges.
