The Licensing Awards, an endorsement of excellence for the licensing industry, took place last night in the Great Room at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
From the toy industry, The Entertainer won Best Kids Retailer of Licensed Products as well as Best Overall Retailer of Licensed Products, while Moshi Monsters won Best Licensed Toys/Games Range. Peppa Pig won Best Pre-School Licensed Property, and Moshi Monsters won Best Schoolers/Tween or Teen Licensed Property.
Other winners included Sainsbury’s (Best Baby / Pre School Retailer), Penguin UK (Best Written, Listening or Learning category with its Moshi Monsters range), London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (Sports property) and Mickey Mouse (Classic property).
