The MadeForMums Toy Awards 2021 are now open for entry

Published on: 14th June 2021

MadeForMums, the UK’s No.1 site for toy reviews, has opened entries to the MadeForMums Toy Awards 2021.

The annual, consumer-facing MadeForMums Toy Awards celebrate the best toys for every age and stage, from newborn to preteens, and are judged by an army of child testers (with the help of their parents) as well as the MadeForMums editorial team and toy-industry experts.

This year, there will be awards in over 35 categories, including Best Science/STEM Toy, Best First Bike, Best Board Game, Best Baby Sensory Toy, Best Wooden Toy and Best Stocking Filler. All entries will automatically be considered for one of the much-coveted Editor’s Choice Awards, which this year will include a focus on toys made to be eco-friendly and with a reduced impact on the environment.

MadeForMums has a reputation for expert, honest online reviews, and its top-ranking toy review content drives over £630K of toy sales in the run-up to Christmas alone (Oct-Dec 2020).

A MadeForMums Toy Award is recognised by parents and retailers as a sign of a toy’s outstanding quality and play potential. The Toy Awards are also rated by the national press, with the Daily Mail featuring detailed coverage of our winners for the past five years.

“Because parents know all our Toy Awards winners have been so thoroughly tested, they trust our editorial coverage – which means loads of them then click through the links to buy the products we rate and recommend,” says Helen Brown, MadeForMums’ Deputy Editor and very excited Head Toy Tester.

Toy brands and PRs can enter their toys into the MadeForMums Toy Awards here  – please note, the site will be live at 10am on 14th June 2021.

Winners and shortlisted entries receive showcase editorial coverage on, with winners getting a special click-to- buy link. Publication of this coverage is timed to hit the upsurge in Christmas gift search traffic. Winners and shortlisted entries also receive a bespoke digital MadeForMums Toy Awards logo for use on packaging and online retail sites.
