The September issue of Toy World is out now

Published on: 2nd September 2020

The September 2020 issue of Toy World is available to read online now.

The September issue of Toy World magazine is out now. This issue includes a comprehensive feature on Collectible & Pocket Money toys, as well as the second part of Toy World’s special Show Off feature, this time focusing on independent retail suppliers. We also explore the changing nature of pre-Christmas marketing campaigns, as the lines between TV and everything else become increasingly blurred.

David Allan, MD of Toynamics, tells Toy World about the company’s new distribution partnership with Skip Hop in an exclusive company profile, and Rick Derr, franchisee and store owner with Learning Express, gives us a fascinating insight into the current state of toy retail in the US as attention turns to Christmas.

We also bring readers opinion pieces, news and views from contributors including Nick Gibbs-McNeil from Kidzcoolit, Azure’s Tristan Brooks, Toy Barnhaus, the NPD Group, Viral Talent and more, while Wendy Munt and Vance Withers share information on their brand-new training course, The Negotiation Game, Nikko’s Simon Juniper details the company’s plans for Q3/4 2020, and Tobias Eberlein, international sales manager at TopBright GmbH, kick-starts the company’s search for a UK distributor.
