The Toy Trust Media Auction is open for bids

Published on: 18th January 2018

This Auction is the second largest fund raising activity in the industry and is a win-win scenario for all.

Last year £70,000 was raised and with some highly prized lots once again, it is hoped the 2018 auction will be just as successful.

This year all money raised will to continue go towards Giving the Gift of Play to disadvantaged children. Through an amazing charity, Over the Wall – which provides residential camps for children with profound disabilities and their siblings to play, rebuild self-esteem, conquer new challenges, and leave with renewed confidence – the Toy Trust will be providing a special week-long camp for 65 deserving children.

Foye Pascoe, Toy Trust Committee Chair, commented: “Giving the gift of play is very important to us all and is at the heart of everything we stand for as an industry. The Toy Trust Committee would therefore like to thank all our media partners for their generous donations without which achieving our aims would not be possible. This annual fundraising activity is a popular part of the Toy Industry Awards night and one that everyone benefits from; we are all looking forward to seeing the results. I’d also like to give special thanks to Arena Azure’s Jeff Taylor for his dedication in helping us creating another superb list to bid for.”

If you would like to make an advance bid please email Matt@btha.co.uk now, or you can do it on Tuesday 23rd January at the Industry Awards event at London Toy Fair.

Now is a great time to have any internal discussions to agree on a bid, and bidders can see what is available on the Toy Trust Media Auction page here.
