Thomas Moore Toymaster to become largest UK Lego stockist

The Exeter toy shop, already known for its impressive Lego department, has undergone a refurbishment to make it ever bigger.

As reported by Devon Live, Thomas Moore Toymaster, with the support of Lego, has overhauled its Lego department to allow it to offer the widest range of products anywhere in the UK. The toy shop on Exeter’s Fore Street will continue to stock the entire standard Lego range, but is now able to dedicate more space to rare, exclusive and hard-to-find sets.

Even though the Lego department is already up and running, complete with some new equipment, the store will be having a grand re-opening on Saturday 6th July. The Lego fun day will feature competitions, prize draws, discounts and gifts with purchases, plus the shop will be giving away £800-worth of Lego.

Thomas Moore Toymaster director, Terry Alford, said: “Once again, Lego UK has invested a lot in the store and this refit offers Lego fans in the area the very best of what Lego has to offer. The large scale interactive models are a particular highlight and will delight Lego fans both young and old. The ‘Which Mini-Figure are you?’ scanner is sure to be a big hit.”

Terry also revealed that a super hero Lego character will be making a surprise appearance at the fun day.

He added: “We have been working with Lego for 10 years and since then we have grown into the biggest independent Lego outlet in the country. Lego has been really supportive to help us grow as a business, and it has doubled the size of our Lego department. Initially it was our idea to expand, but the company jumped on-board with it.”
