Threepipe co-founder Jim Hawker to shave head for NHS

Published on: 15th April 2020

Jim is braving the shave, in the hopes of raising £5,000 for the National Health Service.

Hair today, gone tomorrow (or 1st May) – Jim Hawker before the shave.

Jim Hawker, co-founder of the award-winning marketing agency Threepipe and a regular contributor to Toy World Magazine, has announced plans to shave his head on 1st May in an effort to raise much needed funds for the NHS, which is currently battling the UK’s Covid-19 outbreak.

Noting that ‘shaving your hair off is easy, but being on the front line isn’t’, Jim is hoping to raise £5,000. He commented: “I have decided to do something quite easy and simple to raise some money for the NHS – to shave my head. Hardly a big effort and I have two members of my family working in hospitals every day which pales in comparison. Some ‘friends’ have suggested the hair will fall out by May 1st anyway! I know its uncertain times for everyone at the moment, so please don’t feel pressured into making a donation.”
