Time to select top toy tweeters

Published on: 18th January 2012

As part of its mission to start “dragging the toy industry kicking, screaming and tweeting into 2012…” online toy trade resource, Toy Shop UK has launched its annual Twitterwards.

“The Toy Industry Twitterwards celebrate anyone within the toy industry who has been educational, inspirational or just plain funny in the Twittersphere over the last 12 months,” says TSUK’s Michael Hawkins.

The rules of the Twitterwards are very simple:

Who can vote? Anyone with a connection to (or interest in) the toy industry.

How do I vote? Just email TSUK at: your favourite toy industry Tweeters in the following categories:

• Toy retailer
• Toy supplier
• Toy commentator

How will you pick the winners? The Tweeter with the most votes in each category wins. Simples.

What do the winners actually win? Prestige and boasting rights.

What will you publish about me? Nothing. Voting is completely anonymous.

When will you announce the winners? Monday 23rd January, the eve of Toy Fair.

Where will you annouce the winners? Via Twitter of course! Here to be precise: #twitterwards
