Tom and Jerry return in new series

Published on: 19th March 2014

The Tom and Jerry Show will return exclusively to Boomerang UK on Saturday, 12th April at 9am.

Preserving the look, core characters and tone of the original television show, the new series explores new slapstick storylines and new worlds.

Each brand new episode features Tom the cat and Jerry the mouse as they plot against each other – with Tom’s determination matched only by Jerry’s own cleverness in evading capture. The classic cartoon capers will expand to include new worlds, from a witch’s cabin to a detective agency and a mad scientist’s lab.

Other characters returning to The Tom and Jerry show include Spike and Tyke, Little Quacker, Butch, Tuffy and Toodles.

Boomerang offers a mix of classic cartoons such as Scooby-Doo!, Garfield and Looney Tunes. Turner Broadcasting System, a Time Warner company, creates and programmes branded news, entertainment, animation and young adult media environments on television and other platforms for consumers around the world.
