Tomy announces Battroborg website

Published on: 17th June 2013

In advance of the September launch of Battroborg, Tomy has unveiled its UK website.Battroborg300

Revealing the Battroborg line-up for the first time, fans can get involved and look at each battling Borg’s super powers before they assemble their own army. There is also a trailer of the motion-controlled battling robots.

Using high-end technology, the detailed 2.4GHz remote-controlled Borgs take battling off screen. Each robot comes with a wireless controller that puts the player in control. The high-performance Borgs register each hit and indicate who the battling champion is.

James Cokell, Tomy’s brand manager, said: “Battroborg is the most exciting boys’ toy to reach the UK market for some years. Tomy has taken the lead with technology to be positioned at the forefront of this category. Battroborg will be a must-buy for boys (young and old!), as well as for families so parents can play with children and let off some steam. The launch of the website is just the beginning of Battroborg’s epic future.”
