Tomy Europe restructures sales and marketing team

In addition to Nicolai Lindhardt’s appointment as executive vice president for Tomy Europe, there has been a simultaneous re-structure within the sales and marketing team.

Clive Wooster has decided to pursue opportunities outside of the business and will be leaving Tomy on 22nd February.

Reporting into Nicolai Lindhardt, the UK sales manager will be newly-appointed Jeremy Robinson. Jeremy brings with him a wealth of experience from Radica, Upper Deck and Corgi. Jeremy will head up the sales force, which includes Mark Ashurst who has recently moved from his position as senior marketing manager to take up the role of senior national account manager, responsible for Argos and Toys R Us.

Mark Collee, who has been internally promoted to MD sales Europe, will assume overall sales management for France, Benelux, Germany, Spain and distributor markets, with the respective country managers reporting into him.

In marketing, Ruth Williams has been promoted to senior marketing manager of Toy & Hobby combining pre-school, boys and girls. Ruth has been an integral part of the marketing team for nearly five years working across all toy brand categories. She will be responsible for the development and implementation of the marketing strategy, aimed at achieving both long-term and short-term objectives across all brands.

Janice Cleary has joined as senior marketing manager of Mother, Infant, Toddler to cover for Antonia Rainbow who is currently on maternity leave. Janice will be responsible for driving forward initiatives with the newly-acquired JJ Cole and Boon brands as well as growing the existing product ranges within Tomy’s core nursery business.
