Tomy to visit UK hospitals as part of CSR initiative

Published on: 5th October 2016

The company will celebrate World Smile Day this Friday by visiting two UK hospitals as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.

Tomy-480World Smile Day takes places every year on the first Friday of October. This year, Tomy aims to bring lots of smiles to children as they host two play sessions at Evelina Children’s Hospital in London and The Bramble Ward at Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital in Exeter.

Milkshake’s TV presenters, Jen Pringle and Olivia Birchenough, will also be in attendance to play with the children.

Tomy plans to capture the day and its special moments for a short film that will be shared across its social media pages using the hashtag #TomyMakesTheWorldSmile

Emma Fryer, head of UK marketing, commented: “We are very excited to be visiting both hospitals with Milkshake’s Jen and Olivia. Tomy’s mission is to make the world smile, and we can’t think of a better day to take lots of toys down for the children and hopefully bring many smiles to their faces.”
