Tomy unveils Inside Out toy range

Published on: 23rd July 2015

Tomy’s Inside Out range launches tomorrow to coincide with the film opening.

insideout480Inside Out tells the story of Riley and her family following their move to San Francisco and the emotions the move unleashes in Riley’s mind.

The personified emotions of Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust are available in a wide range from Tomy, as well as a Headquarters Playset and Console.

The five emotion figures come with memory spheres that project a scene or memory.

The I Cry Candy Bing Bong Feature Plush sings the Bing Bong song when his belly is squeezed, says key phrases from the film and cries candy tears.

The Console is where the five emotions gather round and grapple for control of Riley’s moods. All the characters light up when placed next to it.

The Headquarters Playset includes a Joy figurine and three collectible memory spheres. Each sphere can be inserted to project Riley’s memories onto the consciousness screen.

Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust are additionally available as feature plush which play sounds from the movie.

The Tomy Inside Out range also features all five emotions and Bing Bong in small and large figure formats and figure assortments.

John Lasseter, chief creative officer, Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios, commented: “The toys Tomy has created for Inside Out are fantastic – they’ve truly brought our characters to life. We put our hearts into these films, so it’s incredibly important to us that our toy-making partners care about and reflect these characters we know so well.”
