Hosted by children’s TV presenter and face of ToyTesters.tv, Nigel Clarke, the party gave participants the chance to win over £700 worth of toys and games throughout the two hour slot. Twitter users attended from all over the UK and abroad and the hashtag used for the conversation #UltimateToyComp achieved over 10.5m timeline deliveries. Throughout the party, ToyTesters.tv embraced feedback on set debates and the evening entertained the audience with fun tasks where attendees posted photos.
Industry attendees included Bandai, Spin Master, Ravensburger, PR companies, Really Kid Friendly and The Good Toy Guide’s Amanda Gummer who offered advice to parents throughout the session. As well as collecting research throughout the party, ToyTesters.tv’s aim was to thank all the companies who have supported them throughout the year.
Gemma Gallagher, director of ToyTesters.tv, said: “I’ve never known anything like it. We’ve had so much support from the industry this year and we wanted to give something back. The party was about them, their products, their brands, their toys. We’re staggered by the amount of involvement and we can’t quite believe the 10.5m time line deliveries.”
