Known throughout his career for designing and inventing a string of best-selling, innovative products, Ali Mafi brings with him an extensive portfolio of designs, including many new items that would be new to the market.
With over 25 years’ experience in product development and sales, including no fewer than 14 million-selling products to his name (he admits it’s actually 13 but says that’s unlucky), as well as numerous 100k+ selling-lines, Ali believes he is in a good position to help the right company to grow and develop its business.

Speaking to Toy World about his new consultancy venture, Ali said: “For those who are new to the toy and gift markets, I was a contributor to toy publications, including Toy World, for 14 years, writing over 150 articles during that time. But that was just a hobby: my real passion is designing and inventing new products that really break the mould and offer the toy & gift market something different. I have invented and designed numerous products during lockdown, all of which are – in the words of Boris Johnson – oven ready and looking for a good home. It would be a shame if they go to waste. The new items include a line in the jigsaw category, which is currently flying – it’s called The World’s Most Difficult Jigsaw Puzzle. Being completely honest, I am more interested in challenges than money, so you won’t find my expectations unreasonable.”
