Fisher Price products to gain GoPro compatibility

GoPro has announced a new developer programme that integrates cameras and toys.

fisherpricegopro480The GoPro integration into toys is intended for parents to see their kids at play from unique angles.

The programme is aimed at mobile apps, devices that can connect to the camera, and mounts and housings. More than 100 companies have already integrated GoPro into their ranges, including BMW and Fisher Price.

With the Fisher Price integration, parents will be able to add GoPro cameras to certain products, including Walker, Gym and Jumperoo products. According to the company, the integrated products will be available later this year.

GoPro also announced a Works with GoPro verification programme, including a logo that participants can display on their packaging, websites and marketing plans.
