Toy Trust skydive calls for adrenaline junkies

Published on: 21st January 2016

Will you go tandem from 12,000 feet for the Toy Trust?

The Toy Trust is looking for volunteers on Saturday 2nd July for a tandem skydive, which will take place at Sibson Airfield, near Peterborough.

The charity event, as part of the Big Cambridge Challenge, is to raise funds via sponsorship for the Toy Trust’s support of disabled and disadvantaged children this year.

No previous training is required, as skydiving instructors will be attached to jumpers throughout the six minute jump. Participants will be helped every step of the way from basic training, through to boarding the plane, jumping out and guiding the parachute to the ground.

The price of £250 per person also includes attendance at the Big Challenge Evening Party at Wyboston Lakes Exec Centre where participants will be dining with 290 toy industry colleagues.

Those interested should book soon as there are only 12 places left. There are also still places on the Toy Trust’s charity bike ride, run and walk events.
