Toy Trust to launch Big Toy Sale and Big Christmas Cake Bake

Published on: 2nd November 2015

The Toy Trust will hold the events to help raise money for disabled and disadvantaged children.

Toy-Trust-480The Big Toy Sale, which will be held from 16th to 20th November, is a chance for companies from the industry to host their own pre-Christmas sale of toys to their staff. Items that could be included may be returned, unsold or existing stock.

The Toy Trust’s Big Christmas Cake Bake, which will run from 7th to 11th December, will see companies putting their homemade cakes on sale to raise money for the industry’s charity. To be eligible for an award, all entrants should submit photos of their bakes by Twitter or by email to Matt Jones.

The Toy Trust would like the industry to share their experiences throughout the week. Individuals and companies can follow @TheToyTrust on Twitter and use the hashtag #toytrustbigtoysale and #toytrustbigbakeoff during the event week to share stories, pictures and fundraising efforts.

The funds raised through the events will go on to help many of Toy Trust’s deserving charities, which all work to improve the lives of disabled and disadvantaged children.
