Toy World has again teamed up with Mattel to produce a supplement highlighting the company’s key brands and latest news.
This year, Masters of the Universe graces the front and back covers of the dedicated Mattel supplement. A partnership with Sony will see the cultural phenomenon return to the big screen in spring/summer 2021, with Mattel’s play sets, action figures and accessories offering fans of the franchise a range of toys with modernised design and feature enhancements.
Toy World caught up with chief franchise officer Janet Hsu after a year in the role, to find out how she feels about Mattel’s progress over the past 12 months, and which brands within the company’s portfolio are set to benefit from the new franchise management approach.
