Toyology launches first Outdoor Toy Awards

Published on: 13th February 2012 has unveiled plans to launch an Outdoor Toy Awards programme.

Toyology supremo, Peter Jenkinson, says: “From sports and crafts to flying toys and the down-right-daft, a range of categories have been created so that all outdoor toys whether big or small get a chance to participate in and possibly win an esteemed award in this inaugural event.

‘We have selected a group of 30 kids who will be the top judges in the competition, testing the products on various criteria’s including its fun factor and originality; not to mention using Toyology’s very own Fun – ometer! In addition we’ll also have a panel of esteemed judges from across the UK media plus teachers and parents to assist.

“This entire process will be filmed throughout the judging day and the edited highlights placed online and the winners announced on the 23rd April. The winners will be announced at the end of the edited video, which will be placed across a multitude of online media and also be placed with a national newspaper titles.”

Flying Toys
Get Active
Construct and Craft
Team/Family Play

Entries for the Toyology Awards open on 13th February and close 22nd March. The judging event will then take place in London on April 20th. For more information contact.
