Toys R Us in Beauty and the Beast blunder

Published on: 3rd January 2017

The retailer mixed up the release dates of official merchandise, giving fans a sneak preview at Emma Watson’s singing voice.

belleThe Hasbro Belle toy was mistakenly put out on shelves, with fans quick to grab at the chance for a sneak preview into the much anticipated movie. The doll features a clip of Emma singing 14 seconds of the song Something There, which has since been posted on social media.

This is not the first time retailers have mixed up merchandise release dates. Look out for Toy World’s article on breaking shelf embargoes in the January issue, due to land on desks early next week.
