Toys ‘R’ Us owners considering adding equity

According to the Sunday Times, the owners of Toys ‘R’ Us are considering options, including adding new equity and extending debt repayment deadlines, before £400 million of loans are due on its British operation.

KKR & Co., Bain Capital LLC and Vornado Realty Trust are said to be close to appointing Cairn Capital Ltd as adviser, although the Times did not reveal where it got this information.
