NEWS set for week at Hamleys

Published on: 11th August 2014 has joined with five toy companies and Fun Kids Radio to bring a week of toy testing to Hamleys in London. hamleys-site-shot300

The events will be captured on video and published online.

Hosted by Nigel Clarke, has invited children to test toys in store, rate them, put forward ideas for new products in the range and suggest improvements. Key members of each of the toy companies marketing teams will be in Hamleys while the events are taking place.

Fun Kids – the UK’s children’s radio station – has promoted the Toy Testing events online, on air and is running a competition where one listener will win the opportunity to work with Nigel and the crew to be the Fun Kids reporter for one day.

Each day will feature key flagship products from different companies and as well as Toy Testing, 20 children will win a product each day.

Below is a roundup of the week ahead:

Monday 11th August: Lego Friends day. will be taking a look at the brand new Jungle range.

Tuesday 12th August: Tamagotchi Friends Day. Children have been invited to test out the latest Tamagotchi Friends and can also bump their Tamagotchi in-store to earn gifts for their digital friend.

Wednesday 13th August: Bladez Toyz Day. Up for testing are four Jumbo Remote Controlled Inflatables – Star Wars R2-D2, Despicable Me Minion, Disney Lightning McQueen and Disney Dusty Crophopper.

Thursday 14th August: Barbie Colour Change Glam Bag Day. has been asked to test out the latest colour change technology from HTI and the world of Barbie styling.

Friday 15th August: BoomCo and Hot Wheels Day. In the morning, children can test out the BoomCo Rapid Madness and Twisted Spinner blasters. In the afternoon, will be racing cars on the Hot Wheels Super Loop Chase Race and Double Jump Duel tracksets.
